Diversity Care Service provides support to anyone living in their own homes within the community.

This support may include:

 

  • Personal care

  • Help getting up or going to bed

  • Practical support

  • Mobility issues

  • Reablement

  • Social activities

  • Shopping

  • Respite for carers i.e.: sits and overnight sits and intermediate care.

  • Visits from 15 minutes upwards. 15 minute calls are for monitoring purposes only. i.e. prompting medication, ensure  the customer is safe and  their homeis locked for the night,  to make  a drink etc. Any additional care calls must be a minimum of 30 minutes.
     

 

Diversity Care Service is non-discriminatory and is available to people of all cultures, statement of belief and social background.

Diversity Care Service offers a personal and strictly confidential service.

Diversity Care Service will follow and provide assistance, which is stated on the customers needs/care plan. An initial hazard check will be carried out on your first visit to ensure staff work safely and you are not at risk when any tasks are being carried out.

Diversity Care Service provide staff with training in moving and handling,the use of specialist equipment, food safety, health and safety and fire regulations. All staff have or are working towards NVQ 2 in care. Every member of staff under goes an appropriate induction program prior to commencing work, which meets the National Training Organisation Requirements to enable staff to perform a range of personal and practical care duties.

Diversity Care Service has full public and employers liability insurance. Diversity Care does not appoint agency staff and employs staff directly. All our carers are police checked and are recruited locally and have to maintain high standards that we require of all our employees.

Diversity Care Service is a 24 hour service and offers a complete range of personal care, practical duties to Adults, Children (5-18 years), Adults with learning, mental health and physical disabilities and adults who require assistance due to an illness to enable them to remain at home within the community. Diversity Care also provides carers relief (sits/respite care) for carers to have a break and social time away from their caring responsibilities.

Diversity Care Service offers social time to all customers, these may include shopping, outings for meals and recreational activities of your choice.

Diversity Care Service will offer a collection service of medication, prescriptions and incontinence pad supplies.

The Registered Manager/co-ordinator firstly will meet with customers and carers/family on the first visit to discuss your care. Every customer has the right to choice, be in control of their care plan and a financial assessment.
An initial hazard check will be carried out to ensure staff work safely and to discuss staff attendance.
